I been on this earth for about 17 years now, with my birthday recently passed in July while I was still in the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming. Sadly when I tell people I was born in Canada, everybody is really suprised. Maybe because they don’t think that a Chinese person would be there, probably they assume I came from Asia. I am a Chinese-American and very adapted into American Society and Culture here. I think it’s even more sad that I don’t remember anything about Canada since I moved to America while I was very young, just the coldness. The coldness struck me the worse this summer on my 1 month hiking trip in Wyoming. Waking up every morning in the tent, shivering and tired. Well anyways I like school just cause right now it’s free and 90% of the people fail to realize that sooner or later we will have to pay for college and do not appreciate what we have right now. However I dislike homework like everyone else, I always get it done though. I believe homework is reasonable, vital to our understanding, but to much sometimes gets me stresse. For entertainment, I like to learn new techniques for hobbies I do such as breakdancing and play sports such as basketball. I have been a distance runner ever since I was a freshman, running “X” miles everyday. I do cross country, indoor track, outdoor track, and have summer practices. I guess you could say I’m a yearly runner. I also have been trying to look for a job and it’s really hard following up or even getting the chance to be interviewed. I am open to all types of learning, I will try it and hopefully it would be something I enjoy. I plan to be an engineer when I grow up, attend at least a 4 year college. I still don’t know what type of engineer to be, but I like hands on activities. 5 Words I use to describe myself are adaptive, I can react easily to new situations and adjust, tolerant, I have major self control towards other people, empathetic, I like to think in other people’s shoes, a leader, I tend to help others guide themselves, and last but not least a fighter, everybody’s a fighter because life is a challenge.
